DFL Senator Kari Dziedzic of Minneapolis said today that she’s preparing legislation to change the legal age from 18 to 21 for purchasing rifles, shotguns and semi-automatic weapons. She plans to introduce the bill during a possible special session. Dziedzic said the proposal is a reasonable step to help address gun violence.
