Today would have been Diana, Princess of Wales’s 60th birthday. One man who knew her well is Dr James Colthurst. He writes here about first meeting Diana, aged 17, and what she was really like in private. The anniversary is being marked with the unveiling of a statue of Diana, at which both Prince William and Prince Harry were present. You can see the statue here.
