Lives lost: 2022 has been a particularly violent year in New Orleans, with 264 people murdered as of Thursday, and the city poised to reclaim the unwanted title of America's most murderous place. In this look back, we remember some of those whose lives were tragically cut short. PRC to the rescue: The Preservation Resource Center recently dipped into its own money to stabilize several city-owned historic buildings in Armstrong Park.
