This year the BBGV’s Remembrance Sunday event will be held on the morning of Sunday 12th November at the Consulate General Gardens. This event is open to BBGV members and their families. It commemorates the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts and will be led by Group Captain David Houghton, the newly appointed Defence Attaché for Vietnam.

Group Captain David Houghton joined the Royal Air Force in 1984 training to become a pilot. After several tours and operational tours based in the UK he served as the UK’s Defence Attaché to the Republic of Poland from 2012 to 2015 and moved to Vietnam in October this year.
