The Middle East Forum cordially invites you to a webinar:

Is the ICC Prosecuting or Persecuting Israel? Does it Matter?

with MK Michal Colter-Wunsh

Fatou Bensouda, the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) lead prosecutor, concluded a formal preliminary examination of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in late 2019. Despite Israel’s objections, she moved forward requesting a Pre-Trial Chamber on the basis of Palestinian consent, on which the Pre-Trial Chamber is expected to make a decision shortly. This possible investigation raises concerns that the ICC is ignoring clear international law to pursue a politically expedient investigation. What implications does this case have for the Court? Does it matter for Israel?
