Ahmed H. Alrefai is the dean of the College of Business and Management at Fahad Bin Sultan University, an English-language institution in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He holds a B.A. from Yarmouk University, and an M.A. and PhD from the University of Illinois, all in economics. Mr. Alrefai previously was a commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone. He has written on this topic for the Middle East Quarterly.
