Ali Alyami is the founder of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia (CDHR), a Washington, DC-based think tank. He previously worked for the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Cairo, Egypt, and the American Friends Service Committee in San Francisco. He holds an M.A. in international relations from California State University, Los Angeles and a PhD in government and diplomacy from Claremont Graduate University.
