Elliott Abrams, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, served as special representative for Iran and Venezuela for Donald Trump. Previously he was deputy national security advisor for George W. Bush. His earlier experience included working for Henry Jackson, Daniel Moynihan, and Ronald Reagan. Mr. Abrams is graduate of Harvard College, the London School of Economics, and Harvard Law School.
