Patrick Clawson is a member of the Middle East Quarterly’s board of editors. He is director of research at the Washington Institute for Near Eastern Policy, where he directs the Viterbi Program on Iran and U.S. Policy. Mr. Clawson received a B.A. from Oberlin College and a PhD from the New School for Social Research, both in economics. His recent work can be found here.
