From April 17-23, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will recognize Cancer Disparities Awareness Week — a time dedicated to identifying the disparities, or differences, certain groups of people face when it comes to cancer and taking action to help overcome them. During this week, MSK is pleased to offer online educational events for our community, as well as an in-person Community Wellness Day at MSK Ralph Lauren Center in Harlem.

Cancer Clinical Trials: Why They Matter
Tuesday, April 19, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET
Join the Office of Health Equity’s Cancer Health Equity Research Program (CHERP) to discuss the importance of clinical trials, common misconceptions, and more.
What's the Story with HPV and Cervical Cancer?
Wednesday, April 20, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM ET
In this upcoming discussion presented in English and Spanish, MSK gynecologist Deborah Goldfrank and Aisha McClellan, a cervical cancer survivor and advocate from the patient support organization SHARE, discuss information about cervical cancer, HPV, and HPV vaccination.

Join us at MSK Ralph Lauren Center (1919 Madison Avenue, Entrance on 124th Street) on Saturday, April 23, from 10 AM to 3 PM for a Community Wellness Day!
We will offer community members: - Screenings for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancers
- Lung cancer screening referrals
- Blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol screenings
- Health and wellness education
- Smoking cessation counseling
- HPV vaccine (age 18 and up)
- and more!
