| On August 31st, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the Streamlining the Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program, and Basic Health Program Application, Eligibility Determination, Enrollment, and Renewal Processes notice of proposed rulemaking. This rule proposes to streamline applications, verifications, and renewals to help older adults, people with disabilities, children, and others connect to and stay enrolled in health care coverage through Medicaid and CHIP.
