March 18, 2021 When discussing the motive of the alleged gunman who killed eight people in the Atlanta metro area on Tuesday night, police seemed to go out of their way to rationalize his actions. Though six of the people killed were Asian women, the alleged assailant said that it wasn't about race. That was good enough for police, but "it’s unwise to draw the quick and easy conclusions these officials have apparently made," Kevin M. Kruse writes.
