Delta Air Lines has announced it will furlough 1,941 pilots in October if cost-cutting measures can't be agreed with the Air Line Pilots Association. More than 1,800 pilots have taken early retirement, and the company told its remaining pilots last month that furloughs could be avoided with a 15% minimum pay cut.
