Another push: Another group of elected officials are pushing the state to speed the reopening of a stretch of Highway 90 linking Louisiana and Mississippi. The St. Tammany Parish Council says the route is vital for evacuations; the highway department says it’ll cost hundreds of millions to replace a series of old bridges.
