The grocery world in 2019 is more competitive than it's ever been, leaving all the players scrambling to offer clear advantages. Kroger, to that end, has deepened its relationship with Microsoft and is slowly rolling out digital shelving to update its own stores and strengthen its bottom line, as it hopes to sell the technology to other retailers.
