A few weeks ago, MPR News' Tom Weber rode along with nearly three dozen others on a 98-hour bus trip from Duluth to Mongtomery, Ala. They were among the first to tour a lynching memorial. The experience was "overwhelming" for many. "This was the price we pay for freedom we're still fighting for. It's a war that's still going on for us," said Kym Young.
