Report shows 266K jobs added in Nov.
Job gains for November reached 266,000, according to the monthly jobs report released by the Department of Labor today. This is an increase over October, when employers added 156,000 jobs, and the US unemployment rate dropped slightly to 3.5%.

More employers show interest in financial, mental health wellness
WorkWell Consultants CEO Kathy Worden says more employers are interested in providing financial and mental health wellness resources for employees, and those that incentivize participation in community service, team sports, mental health and financial wellness tend to gain more worker trust. Elizabeth Giles of Numerica Credit Union says the company finds an association between having debt and the risk of anxiety and depression, so the company makes financial well-being a priority.

The newest employee at Arkansas' Bentonville Municipal Airport is a border collie who is being retained, along with a handler, to shoo geese away. Flyaway Geese has sold more than 600 dogs over the past 20 years, placed not only at airports but also at golf courses, parks and military bases.
