Forty-five percent of Black professionals are considering leaving their jobs because of a lack of opportunities for advancement and 46% of Black professionals ages 18 to 34 have experienced microaggressions or outright discrimination in the workplace, according to a LinkedIn survey. In addition, 40% of Black professionals say mentorships would improve equality in the workplace, but 49% think lack of trust is a barrier.

Depression, anxiety and stress risks declined in January, compared with levels reported in December, according to the Mental Health Index: U.S. Worker Edition, which also reported an increase in sustained attention. "While this data is encouraging, and there is reason to be more optimistic for the future, America is still facing a major mental health crisis," said Colleen McHugh of the American Health Policy Institute.
