Seattle hospital denied full accreditation after inspection

The Joint Commission has denied full accreditation to Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle after the facility was found out of compliance in nearly 30 areas during a surprise visit in May, according to a report from the Seattle Times.



 

Texas medical clinic evacuated after fire

The North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, Texas, evacuated "a number" of patients and visitors due to a fire June 22.
