His "self-serving and corrupt" dark money donation is under fire

Voornaam,

The bad news keeps piling up for Alek Skarlatos, the Republican congressional candidate who ran against Rep. Peter DeFazio in 2020 and who has already announced his plans to run again in 2022.

First, a report found that a non-profit Skarlatos started after losing the election was seeded with $93,000 in leftover campaign funds, but has done little to support its claimed mission to advocate for veterans. Instead, it's sent $65,000 back to Skarlatos to start to build out his war chest for a rematch against Rep. DeFazio next fall.

Then, Skarlatos was hit with a campaign finance complaint filed with the Federal Elections Commission, accusing him of making a "dark money donation to his campaign" that was "not only self-serving and corrupt but does not fall within the bounds of the law."

Now, we're getting ready to do everything we can to defend Rep. DeFazio's seat and defeat Skarlatos in 2022, and to elect Democrats up and down the ballot next fall. That starts with the support of Oregon Democrats like you, Voornaam.

If you're able, will you donate to the Democratic Party of Oregon?

Thank you,
