Dear Voornaam: Today is Social Securityâs 87th birthday, but one of the most successful programs in American history wonât make it much longer if Republicans have their way. Republican leaders in both the U.S. House and Senate have plans to end Social Security as we know it in just 5 short years. Democrats will oppose this with everything we have, but we need YOUR help.
The only way we stop this attack is by electing Democrats, like Oregonâs Senator Ron Wyden and winning Oregonâs six U.S. House races. The Democratic Party of Oregon knows how to win tough elections. Weâre mobilizing thousands of volunteers and organizing a massive get-out-the-vote effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. But we need your help. If we all do our part, weâll protect everyone, especially those families that rely on Social Security to survive. We need your help to win. By chipping in, youâll help keep the Senate out of Republican hands, ensure the House stays in Democratic control, and support Tina Kotek for Governor and Christina Stephenson for Labor Commissioner. We will continue to deliver results for Oregonians and Americans, but we need your help. Will you donate to the Democratic Party of Oregon?
Weâve got a lot on the line, and with you on our team, weâll win big in November 2022! Thanks for all you do -
