The Mahwah Municipal Alliance (MMA) continues to offer the services of Dana Romano as a community liaison for Mahwah residents. In this capacity she acts as an advocate for those families and individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse. This service is complimentary and funded by the MMA.

The MMA has long recognized the need for a resource people can turn to for help when a family member or friend suffers from addiction or substance abuse. This one phone call to Ms. Romano can potentially save a life and put someone on the road to recovery. The heroin and opioid epidemic knows no boundaries and sadly all too often people don't know where to turn. Ms. Romano and the services and advice she can provide may be the first step to recovery and a life free of addiction.
