| RIP Time Out’s founder, Tony Elliott | Hard to imagine, but once upon a time Time Out did not exist. Instead of planning for a night out in London, people had to simply wander the streets, hoping something fun would randomly occur to them. That all changed in 1968 when Tony Elliott created the first issue of Time Out, a revolutionary publication that connected people to their city in a totally new way. This week, the whole Time Out family is extremely sad to announce Tony’s passing. If you have memories or tributes about Tony or Time Out that you’d like to share, get in touch and we’ll make sure the great man’s incredible legacy lives on for years to come. |
