Restaurant with virtual golf to open this spring

Loft18, the Louisiana-based chain of sports bar and grills that feature virtual golf simulator bays, will start construction soon on a Broussard location.

The 10,000-square-foot restaurant will occupy the space of the former Ballroom of Broussard at 405 Albertson Parkway and open likely in April, President and CEO Greg Whitman said. 

The company wants to open a Lafayette location some time next year.
