Closing the Graduation Gap
 
Colleges have increased efforts to enroll more underserved students than in prior decades, but getting students in the door isn’t enough.

The American college student population is becoming more diverse. As the student success movement grows, colleges are seeing the importance of addressing the persistent graduation gaps for students who are first-generation or from low-income backgrounds. Even as Covid-19 exposed the widening class divides in higher education, it also provided leaders with an opportunity to strengthen their support of the underserved student population.
