Calif. gig worker law comes down to Nov. 3 vote

A California appeals court upheld a previous ruling that Uber and Lyft must reclassify their drivers within the state as employees. The ruling won't come into effect until after the issue is voted on Nov. 3 by residents via a Proposition 22 ballot, when the state's gig worker law could be repealed.
