Join us on September 14 at the Sachs Recreation Center from 11am-1pm to clear up space for the winter and drop off donations. Learn more below.

PLASTICS - RECYCLE BEYOND THE BAG

Transform household bags & wrap into Trex composite decking and railing

Location: Sachs Recreation Center and Jewett Park Community Center
Accepting CLEAN, DRY produce bags, store bags, ice bags, Ziploc and other reclosable bags, cereal box liners, case overwrap, bread bags, newspaper sleeves, dry cleaning bags, bubble wrap, and plastic e-commerce mailers.
 

CRADLES TO CRAYONS 

Location: Sachs Recreation Center
Accepting children’s gently used coats, clothes, new school supplies, unopened diapers, pull-ups, and diaper wipes. (No Toys, Books, Car Seats, etc).
 

REUSE-A-SHOE

Location: Sachs Recreation Center
Accepting all types of shoes, with the exception of shoes that are wet or moldy, or shoes without soles/falling apart. No rollerblades, ice skates or winter boots. All other boots, such as dress boots, hiking boots and rain boots are accepted.
 

TEXTILES

Location: Patty Turner Center and the Deerfield Golf Club
Accepting all types of clothing, Halloween costumes, hats, scarves & gloves, pet clothing, socks and undergarments, suits/tuxedos, purses and handbags, ties and belts, tote bags and backpacks, sheets, duvets and bedspreads, comforters, blankets and quilts, fabric sofa covers, table linens, towels and washcloths, plush/stuffed animals.

Do not accept: Wet, odorous, or moldy items, fabric scraps, pillows, cushions, sleeping bags, non-fabric household linens, vinyl shower curtains, tablecloths, mattresses, rugs and carpet, foam furniture/mats, large luggage and electric blankets.
