Tip of the week
On February 9, Congress passed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, and it did not extend the section of the Social Security Act that applied the therapy caps to OPPS hospitals from October 2012-December 2017. Unless there is further action by Congress, the therapy caps no longer apply to OPPS hospitals.
