The American Medical Collection Agency recently began notifying its clients of a hack that exposed personal and billing data, including data for approximately 11.9 million Quest Diagnostic patients and 7.7 million LabCorp patients.

CMS recently published a Request for Information (RFI) on its Patients over Paperwork initiative to ask for ideas on how to reduce the burden associated with coding documentation requirements, reporting documentation requirements, prior authorizations, and more. Comments on the RFI are due by August 12.
