Hi **vornaam**,
It’s the start of one of my team’s favourite weeks of the year, including the kicking-off of Amsterdam eWeek, and the presenting of a new edition of our flagship event, Emerce eDay.
Thursday is the big day, and before we head over to Kromhouthal today to start the preparations, I wanted to give you one last peek at what you can look forward to as you plan your Emerce eDay.
Here are a few more of the talks I think you’ll enjoy:
- If you are not yet familiar with the phenomenon of nano-satellities, Coen Janssen’s talk is one to pay attention to. Nano-satellites have been hailed as revolutionary and provide Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to remote, unconnected areas of the world.
- The human experience of food extends far beyond mere nourishment. In a fascinating talk on the role of food in space travel and the future of human habitation, we’ll step into the next realm of gastonomic experience with Maggie Coblenz of MIT’s Media Lab Space Exploration Inititative.
- This visual, creative and intriguing session by artist Robert Overweg explores disruption from another angle: evolution. Looking at the past with an eye on creating a successful future, we’ll look at cognitive flexibility and the relationship between innovation and happiness.
- Alliances between music and brands have evolved in leaps and bounds. Marleen Heemskerk is going to take us on a journey to help us know how to navigate these new connections and what’s next for shared value partnerships.
- Meet Lightyear One and Lex Hoefsloot. Going into production in 2021, Lightyear One is the first long-range solar car to hit the market and the outlook is extremely positive. Is this the future of sustainable transport?
I hope you’re getting as excited as I am. See you Thursday*!
