The Rex crisis is deepening, with flight bookings on 737 services suspended and employees refused access to a hotel due to unpaid bills. 

Air New Zealand has become the first major airline to concede ambitious carbon emissions reduction targets are unachievable by 2030, and has made the decision to dump them.

BHP has made a fresh move to acquire new copper assets, teaming up with Canada’s Lundin Mining for a $C4.1bn ($4.5bn) offer for South America-focused copper developer Filo Corp.
