Rexall Takes Steps to Support Communities Across Canada During COVID-19 | To Our Valued Customers and Patients: | At Rexall, the health and safety of our employees, customers and patients remains a priority. As we work through COVID-19, Rexall will continue to focus on important actions such as: | • | Staff education on proper infection control processes, | • | Frequent hand washing with soap/water or alcohol-based gel as outlined by Public Health Agency of Canada to prevent the spread of COVID-19 | • | Routine and thorough cleaning protocols at our stores, disinfecting all high-touch areas, including the employee lunchroom, manager’s office, consultation rooms, Pharmacy pick-up and drop-off, cash registers and pin-pad terminals. | • | Ensuring hand sanitizer is available for customers, patients and employees at multiple stations across each store | • | Ensuring employees and pharmacists have the information they need to stay healthy or to stay at home if they are feeling unwell | • | Cascading material related to COVID-19 to our store teams on a regular bases so that they can keep informed of the latest operations information | • | Working to ensure employees have access to masks in stores, in the event a member of the public self-monitored as positive for COVID-19 |
| We have also encouraged social distancing at all Rexall stores and have provided signage regarding this at the front of our stores. As a further measure, Rexall is working on the installation of barriers between our employees and customers at point of purchase. We will continue to examine all measures to ensure the safety and health of our employees. |
