The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas is set to ring in the new year in style with the upcoming DeepStack Extravaganza (NYE) tournament series set to run from Dec. 25 through Jan. 7. Nearly $1 million in guaranteed prize money is set to be awarded across the 19-event tournament schedule. The centerpiece of the whole affair is the $400,000 guaranteed Card Player Poker Tour $1,600 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event which kicks off on Jan. 4, just a few days into 2024. The tournament features three starting flights from Jan. 4-6, each beginning at 11:10 AM local time. Players that make it through their starting flights will return at 11:00 AM on Jan. 7 to play down to a champion. In addition to the upcoming CPPT main event, another marquee event on offer for this series will be the $300,000 guaranteed $1,100 buy-in Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) main event running Dec. 28-30. After two starting flights, players will combine to play down to a winner the day before New Year’s Eve.
