Tributes to Kirstie Alley have flooded social media following the actor's sudden death.
Alley died on Monday after a short battle with cancer, her children announced in a statement on Twitter. She was 71.
"To all our friends, far and wide around the world ... we are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered," the statement by True and Lillie Parker said.
Following her death, the two-time Emmy-winning actor's co-stars and friends, including Look Who's Talking actor John Travolta, shared touching tributes.
Kelsey Grammer, Alley's Cheers co-star, said in a statement to Variety:"I always believed grief for a public figure is a private matter, but I will say I loved her."
