The week's biggest real estate stories.
Cole Sprouse is swimming into a post and beam dream home. Built in 1949, the “Riverdale” star’s new Hollywood Hills property boasts a bonafide architectural pedigree -- designed by Richard Neutra in collaboration with two other modernist architects, the mini-estate includes a jungle-like canopy of trees, lagoon pool and views of the San Fernando Valley skyline. Elsewhere, Andie MacDowell has bought a 1920s storybook Tudor in the Eastside Los Angeles neighborhood of Silver Lake. Netflix’s “Maid” star beat out other bidders for the renovated home, ultimately paying $200,000 over the $4.1 million asking price. |
