Good evening,

Good evening,

It’s all eyes on earnings numbers this week, with Aurizon and Suncorp among the big companies expected to get results season started on Monday morning.

Street Talk will be looking out for deals with results - there’s always at least a couple - although we’re still not convinced that deal makers are as busy as they’re letting on.

In Street Talk tonight, we have a detailed look at changes inside high-profile fund manager Roger Montgomery’s business.

Following some lean years, Montgomery is shaking up his Australian large caps strategy, doing away with some in-house managers and in-sourcing expertise from cross-town rival Australian Eagle.

It’s sure to get tongues wagging in the industry. Montgomery has a big public presence, if not a huge pile of capital.

We also check in on Ramsay Health Care’s mooted $30 billion deal following some board meetings, and have caught private equity types looking at Anytime Fitness.

And speaking of private equity, we’ve got wind of a maiden fund out of Melbourne shop Seneca Capital, following a few successful investments that were done on a deal-by-deal basis.

Happy reading.
