Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will take the stage at the Utah GOP convention today. DeSantis is expected to announce his presidential candidacy in May.

A recent poll suggests that Utah voters would more likely support DeSantis (21%) over former President Donald Trump (16%). Like Trump, DeSantis is viewed as a fighter for traditional values, but he has gained the reputation of being a "more refined version" of the former president.

Though Earth Day is often attached to the issue of climate change, the holiday is a reminder to be a good steward and to leave the planet better than we found it. 

Earth Day can be about more than riding your bike around your local park. It can be an opportunity to teach your children about stewardship.
