Rosalia Films Announces New Film Project

Rosalia Films is pleased to announce a new film project. This continues our mission of shining a light on unsung community heroes who positively change the lives of others through their true compassion, understanding and effort. This film will be a portrait of the Bridge Ministry, founded by William Washington many years ago in central Virginia.

The Bridge Ministry has been transforming the lives of men dealing with life-threatening addiction issues by providing them with a residency in a camp where they are taught productive job skills and are also provided with psychological and spiritual mentoring. The mission of the Bridge Ministry is to confront and overcome life's trauma that often leads to addictive behavior. This camp residency takes them off the downward path created by drug and alcohol addiction that often leads to incarceration, which only deepens their trauma and creates more obstacles to a successful life. The Bridge Ministry has been in operation for 25 years and more than 86% of the men who have completed this program have successfully returned to society as productive community and family members and have not returned to prison.

Our mission, similar to our efforts with past films, World Peace and other 4th-Grade Achievements, Holistic Life Foundation: breathing love into a community and Seats at the Table is to spread the word about this significant work done by the Bridge Ministry to both sustain their efforts as well as to inspire others across the country and beyond to consider replicating this work in their own communities. Increasing the number of individuals whose lives will be transformed by this experience is the main goal of this project's mission.

Our plan is to raise enough funding so that we can begin filming in 2022. The Film Collaborative, a 501(c)3 organization, has agreed to be the project's fiscal sponsor, so all contributions to help make this project will be verified as tax-deductible charitable donations.
