New award celebrates success of women in Rotary The Women in Rotary Event at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, held during the 2017 Convention, presented former Foundation Trustee Carolyn Jones with the newly established Sylvia Whitlock Leadership Award. The award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the success of women in Rotary. Presidential peacebuilding conferences Plan now to attend one of six Presidential Peace Conferences in 2018. RI President Ian H.S. Riseley will host the conferences in 2018 to explore the connection between peace and Rotary's five other areas of focus plus environmental sustainability. The first conference is scheduled for 10 February in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. | |||||
