Dr. Madlensky has provided cancer genetic counseling services for over 25 years.  She has practiced in the United States and Canada and was a founding member of the Familial Cancer Risk group of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), establishing cancer genetic counseling as a sub-specialty.

This webinar will provide an introductory overview of the basic concepts of hereditary cancer risk. Dr. Madlensky will specifically address questions about certain genes that cause an increased risk of certain types of cancer and tackle concerns of people who have been diagnosed with or those that are at high risk for hereditary cancers.
