Russians have joined the queue of iPhone users who are suing Apple for slowing down older devices, with a group planning to take the American technology company to court.

The Twitter account of the editor-in-chief of Germany's Der Spiegel magazine has been hacked and used to apologise for the "bad news" it published about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A man who defrauded mobile phone users of millions of dollars by sending them unwanted text messages has been jailed for five years.
