Though it took a year and a half and a considerable discount from his original $18 million asking price, Ryan Murphy has finally sold his former Beverly Hills mansion for $16.5 million. The “Ratched” creator bought the charming 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival-style residence from Diane Keaton 11 years ago for $10 million, so he managed to turn quite a profit on the sale. Meanwhile, over in Agoura Hills, Billy Bob Thornton paid $3.1 million for a gated compound that previously belonged to Lifehouse singer Jason Wade. In addition to a 3,100-square-foot main house and guest apartments, the property also includes a large professional recording studio.
