Ryanair to cancel up to 300 flights as cabin crew strike July 25-26

Irish LCC Ryanair said it would cancel up to 300 flights on July 25 and 26 because of planned strikes by cabin crew in Belgium, Spain and Portugal, adding to its labor problems during the peak European summer vacation period as a conflict with pilots based in Ireland also continues.

United Airlines executives said a strong revenue environment and cost discipline are enabling the Chicago-based airline to recover 75% of rising fuel prices and maintain solid profitability, reporting a second-quarter net profit of $684 million, down 16.7% from net income of $821 million in the 2017 June quarter.
