Charlotte group purchases student housing facility 

Hampton House, a 32-bedroom facility at 1800 Senate St., sold for $2.1 million. Renovations and upgrades to the common areas are planned, according to Wilson Kibler, which represented the buyer. 

Duke Energy selects properties for site readiness

Duke Energy has selected three properties across the state, including 192 acres in Newberry County, for its 2020 Site Readiness Program, which helps enhance sites for business and industrial development.

'Outer Banks' to resume filming today in the Lowcountry  

The Netflix series, which brought in $31.4 million in direct spending last year, returns to the Lowcountry on Monday. "Outer Banks" is one of two television shows currently filmed in South Carolina.
