S.C. unemployment claims fall in week ending Oct. 31

The number of initial claims dipped to 3,398, down 439 from the previous week. Nationally, 751,000 claims were filed, a drop of 7,000 from the previous week. Greenville County saw a state-high 343 claims.

Michelin set to make $100 million Greenville investment

Michelin North America plans to grow its manufacturing facilities in Greenville with a $100 million Expansion Project that surfaced during Greenville County Council's first reading of a Fee-in-Lieu of Tax agreement extension ordinance.
