Join the Smithsonian American Art Museum for our annual celebration and enjoy a taiko drumming performance by Nen Daiko, traditional Japanese dance with Onoe Dance, and break out your best Japanese pop dance moves with Les The DJ. Craft your own cherry blossom tree to take home, make a fun koinobori kite, or try your hand at an origami Sakura. Explore SAAM’s galleries with a scavenger hunt and enjoy festive treats from a special menu celebrating the cherry blossoms available to purchase at the Courtyard Café.
