Thank you for joining us each day in learning about the amazing saints featured in Saint of the Day. These women and men inspire us through their lives and deeds. Yesterday, we celebrated Saints Joachim and Anne, whose lives represent generations of people who have faithfully performed their duties, practiced their faith, and established an atmosphere for the coming of the Messiah, yet remain obscure. Known as the “feast of grandparents,” it reminds grandparents of their responsibility to establish a tone for generations to come: They must make the traditions live and offer them as a promise to children.
