The Saints stumbling November continued after losing their fourth straight game against the Buffalo Bills, after losing on Thursday night in primetime, 31-6. In a game where Drew Brees, the best player in team history, was honored at halftime, the energy and juice the defense played with quickly faded away in the second half after two Bills touchdown drives to put the game out of reach. This is the first time in the Saints have lost four straight games since the 2015 season, when they did in between weeks 9 and 13. The Saints offense did not register a point until early in the fourth quarter, when the Bills were already up by four scores. In fact, that marked the only time the Saints passed the Bills 40 yard line in the game. The Saints offense finished with under 200 total yards of offense and 12 total first downs all game long. Trevor Siemian completed 17 of 29 pass attempts and threw one touchdown and one interception. It may be time for the Saints to make a quarterback change to bring life into the lifeless Saints offense. Although they found ways in the previous three losses to climb back into the game, the Bills slammed the door shut soundly against the Saints Thursday night. The Saints will head to Dallas next Thursday night to face the Cowboys in a pivotal NFC matchup, with the Saints chances of the playoffs fading with every loss.
