They then managed to make it close enough for fans to believe they just might pull it off, before dropping the contest, 33-28. Derek Carr was knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter. State Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain says the 2023 wildfire season has made it clear that Louisiana is ill-prepared for hotter, drier summers that produce multiple, simultaneous blazes that ravage forests, imperil communities and stretch the state’s firefighting capabilities beyond the limit.
