Saints lose: The Saints led for almost the entire game Sunday, only to give the lead to Joe Burrow and the Bengals right when it mattered, falling 30-26 in the Superdome. Jeff Duncan says the loss shows that Jameis Winston should be the Saints quarterback, while Rod Walker notes Burrow found his swagger in the dome. Also, Eli Apple gets the last word. Saved by the ball? Could football be the answer to flagging admissions at UNO? Some think it could, and the students are going to to decide whether they agree. Marie Fazio has talked to students to see what they think, and lays out some of the pros and cons. Rural crime soars: Much hay is being made over the rise in crime in America's cities — some cities more than others — but the fact is violent crime is up almost everywhere, and small towns are feeling it too.
